The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data sourcing, ETL, large-scale data platforms, and analytics across Teradata, Informatica, Hadoop, and CDP ecosystems and a proven ability to design, build, and deliver resilient data capabilities that support AML monitoring and surveillance at scale.Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications supporting Financial Crimes use cases.Translate business requirements into technical designs and refined user stories.Estimate effort, plan delivery, and participate in the full SDLC within Agile practices.Build and optimize data sourcing, data models, and provisioning for AML and surveillance platforms.Develop database-intensive solutions, migrations, and conversions with a focus on performance tuning.Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines and release processes.Partner with Production Support, Platform, and Business teams to manage change, upgrades, and interfaces.Perform proofs of concept to de-risk new patterns and technologies.Promote and apply engineering best practices and governance across projects and programs.Analyze present state, propose future state approaches, and facilitate implementation with measurable outcomes.Required Skills & Qualifications:10+ years of software development with data engineering focus.Teradata 16.x, advanced SQL, BTEQ, TPT, and SQL performance tuning.Informatica 10.x for ETL design and implementation.Cloudera CDP and Hadoop ecosystem: Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala.UNIX shell scripting and job scheduling with Autosys.Strong data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning for large-scale AML and surveillance datasets.CI/CD and change management using Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.Ability to lead design/build, perform hands-on development, and coordinate distributed development efforts.Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and requirement discovery skills.Preferred Skills:Business knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes domains.Experience with Agile delivery in complex, regulated environments.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
