Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC & Iselin, NJ (Hybrid i.e., 3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 06 Months

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with expertise in Python, Snowflake, and AWS to architect, develop, and optimize scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Own and oversee production support alongside dedicated L1/L2 teams driving incident resolution, root cause analysis, and prioritizing BAU enhancements to improve system reliability
  • Lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and drive best practices
  • Develop ETL frameworks and tools
  • Design and optimize databases (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Deploy and manage cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda, Glue, S3, Airflow)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and performance monitoring

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to manage production support operations, including incident triage, escalation handling, and coordination with L1/L2 support teams
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Python backend development
  • Expertise in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and other DB tools
  • Expertise in AWS services, Scalr, Terraform
  • Experience with ETL frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to have:
  • Experience working for the technology department of an Asset Management firm
  • Experience in Loan Asset class and/or Private Placements
