Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with expertise in Python, Snowflake, and AWS to architect, develop, and optimize scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee production support alongside dedicated L1/L2 teams driving incident resolution, root cause analysis, and prioritizing BAU enhancements to improve system reliability
- Lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and drive best practices
- Develop ETL frameworks and tools
- Design and optimize databases (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Deploy and manage cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda, Glue, S3, Airflow)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and performance monitoring
Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage production support operations, including incident triage, escalation handling, and coordination with L1/L2 support teams
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Python backend development
- Expertise in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and other DB tools
- Expertise in AWS services, Scalr, Terraform
- Experience with ETL frameworks and tools
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience working for the technology department of an Asset Management firm
- Experience in Loan Asset class and/or Private Placements
