We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, cloud data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable cloud-based data solutions and optimizing data platforms.
<.>Key Responsibilities- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design and architect data solutions for cloud platforms.
- Assist in designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Optimize database performance, indexing, storage, and overall costs.
- Establish and maintain data standards, metadata, governance, and security rules.
- Work with data engineering and development teams to ensure scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on data architecture, modeling, and warehouse design.
- 8 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Data Engineering.
- Strong experience with Data Modeling and data architecture.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms:
- AWS Redshift
- Azure Synapse
- Google BigQuery
- Experience with modern data platforms such as:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Cloud-native relational databases
- Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin/ERwin, Hackolade, or DbSchema.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing methodologies:
- Kimball
- Data Vault 2.0
- Inmon
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Strong scripting experience with Python.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data architectures.
- Strong database performance tuning and optimization experience.
- Experience working with ETL/ELT and modern data engineering environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with data engineers, developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
