Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing workforce management systems, configuring timekeeping platforms, and ensuring seamless data integration across enterprise systems.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Data Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Configure and manage workforce management systems, including timekeeping, scheduling, and absence modules.
Design and maintain ETL pipelines and API integrations (REST/SOAP) to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Translate business rules, labor policies, and union requirements into system configurations and logic.
Perform advanced data analysis and reporting using SQL and support decision-making processes.
Manage system governance, security roles, and platform upgrades to ensure stability and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity across Payroll, HR, and Finance systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in data engineering, system administration, or workforce management systems.
Strong expertise in SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and API integrations (REST/SOAP) with experience in enterprise workforce management platforms.
Proven ability to manage data integrity across HR, Payroll, and Finance systems while translating business rules into scalable system configurations and workflows.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
