The Opportunity
The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting applications and driving design and delivery across multiple domains, helping shape MetLife\''s enterprise data landscape. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in Big Data Platforms including Hadoop and Azure Cloud platforms, with rich experience in operating enterprise-scale data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Functions as a lead to provide systems analysis, troubleshooting support, technical/data design, coding, unit testing, and end-to-end data solution. Ability to lend oversight, enforce guidelines, and support other teams with designing end-to-end solutions. Exhibits technical subject matter expertise in Big Data technologies including Azure Cloud platform and Hadoop framework.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
