    Senior Data Governance Engineer/Tech Lead
    Location: Boston, MA
    Duration: Long Term
    Rate: DOE

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a robust data governance framework, including data privacy policies and standards.
    • Establish and oversee processes for data archival, anonymization, and compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR.
    • Lead the setup of metadata management, business glossaries, and data lineage tracking.
    • Define and implement data policies related to archival and anonymization, ensuring regulatory adherence.
    • Manage privacy-related processes for consent, access, and data deletion requests.
    • Monitor and improve data quality, establishing procedures for data issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies across the organization.
    • Utilize data governance tools such as Azure Purview and Collibra for effective implementation.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in data governance, with hands-on implementation capabilities.
    • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and "Right to Forget" principles.
    • Experience with data archival, anonymization, and privacy compliance management.
    • Expertise in metadata management, business glossaries, and data lineage.
    • Proficiency in using data governance tools like Azure Purview and Collibra.
    • Ability to develop data policies and standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
