Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting and analytics data solutions.
- Build and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and reporting layers optimized for business intelligence and analytics.
- Create automated processes to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support enterprise reporting platforms, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting.
- Optimize data architecture, query performance, and reporting system scalability.
- Design and maintain metadata, documentation, and data lineage processes.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting processes for production data systems.
- Partner with data analysts, BI developers, and application teams to establish reporting best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, reporting engineering, or business intelligence development.
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise reporting systems and data platforms.
- Strong expertise in SQL and relational database design.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure.
- Proficiency with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
