Senior Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and AI/ML model development to support a strategic client engagement. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions that solve complex business challenges using image, video, and sensor data.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong research-oriented mindset, hands-on development experience, and the ability to translate cutting-edge AI innovations into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Computer Vision and Machine Learning models.
• Build AI solutions for image classification, object detection, segmentation, OCR, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
• Conduct research and evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Develop and deploy scalable AI models using industry-standard tools and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to deliver AI-driven business outcomes.
• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance tuning.
• Create technical documentation and present findings to technical and business audiences.
• Support model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master''s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics.
• Strong expertise in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and AI model development.
• Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow / PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, and LLM/GenAI frameworks (preferred).
• Experience with Object Detection, OCR, Image Segmentation, Video Analytics, and Vision Transformers.
• Strong understanding of statistics, optimization techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience deploying AI models in cloud environments ( GCP).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
