Your Remote Tech Recruiter is exclusively engaged with a US-based Tech Consultancy who are looking to hire Senior Data Scientists into several projects based out of the Virginia area (Chantilly and Herndon if we're being specific).
The roles are part of a larger hiring campaign across their core Data and Software Engineering teams, with the focus being on the delivery of cutting edge solutions for the DoD/Government. They're a boutique organisation in terms of size (>50 employees), but they work across a broad spectrum of technology areas and are in the midst of a huge period of growth, with these roles being part of a 20+ role hiring campaign.
Due to the Top Secret nature of their work, I can't share too much detail around the day-to-day in this advert (for obvious reasons!), but they would prefer applicants with TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly or FSP is the preference due to project demand).
In terms of 'role levels', they're hiring across mid-level and senior (most of the FSP demand is for Senior Data Scientists) and due to the size of the organisation and the fact they're growing, opportunities for fast-tracked career development are there for those who want it.
If you're interested in applying, please ensure your resume details some (not necessarily all) of the following:
- Ideally a Degree in Computer Science, or something similar - i.e. Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics etc..
- Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning models and advanced algorithms
- Background in programming (Python, R), data modelling and AI
- Experience using Excel and SQL, as well as any experience using Data preparation tools (e.g. Tableau Prep Builder)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum)
- Existing SC clearance - preferably TS/SCI CI Poly or TS/SCI FSP
