PSI is seeking an AMOC Senior Database Administrator III to provide full-time, on-site support to the CBP Air and Marine Operations Center.
This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments that support C4I systems, AMOSS, ISR platforms, and associated mission applications, ensuring data availability, integrity, security, and performance in alignment with operational requirements.
Administer, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting AMOSS, ISR, and C4I environments.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and security across all database platforms
Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in mission-critical environments.
Manage database access controls and ensure compliance with security requirements.
Support integration of databases with applications, systems, and data sources.
Collaborate with engineering and development teams to support system enhancements and data requirements.
Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and standards.
Support data migration, replication, and synchronization efforts.
Ensure compliance with configuration management and change control processes.
Ability to work in operational environments supporting technical systems.
May require standing, walking, and limited lifting of equipment.
Ability to travel and deploy to operational locations as required.
