Pay Range: $62 - $65/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
Key Responsibilities:- Design and maintain an enterprise-scale database platform for cybersecurity account review and remediation workflow support
- Build and support high-volume data ingestion pipelines from approximately 12 source systems
- Normalize, transform, and centralize data into a secure and scalable database environment
- Apply business rules and risk logic to determine account ownership and health
- Generate ServiceNow tickets and operational reports for remediation teams
- Develop automated recurring processing jobs for weekly account evaluation
- Optimize database performance, SQL queries, indexing, and data processing logic
- Support ETL/ELT processes and data transformation workflows
- Write backend or scripting code in Python, Java, or similar languages to support automation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable data operations
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- 8 –12+ years of experience as a Database Engineer, Data Engineer, or Senior Data Platform Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with database architecture, design, and performance tuning
- Proven success building large-scale data ingestion pipelines
- Advanced SQL expertise, including query optimization and troubleshooting
- Deep experience with data modeling, schema design, and relational database structures
- Experience with ETL/ELT and high-volume enterprise data processing
- Ability to build automated, rule-driven data solutions
- Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems
- Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar backend languages
- Strong communication skills and a stable work history
