Senior Database Engineer with Poly

Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Database Engineer with an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customer. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.

What You Will Do

Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance. Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes. Model data to design local schemas, tables, data types, indexes, procedures, and functions. Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers.

What You Need to Have

• Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of Database experience
• Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
• Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, including: • deployment and management of the database itself • debugging of optimization issues • scaling
• Experience with Django or Flask
• ReST endpoint and Micro services
