Job Summary:
We are in search of an experienced Database Reliability Engineer with a solid foundation in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, aiming to architect and maintain large-scale PostgreSQL environments within multi-cloud architectures (AWS and GCP). This role is crucial for someone who can adapt quickly, master new database technologies or cloud platforms, and drive technology strategy through major migration and upgrade projects while ensuring operational excellence. Candidates must bring a proven track record in managing highly available systems and a deep understanding of cloud databases, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced database administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and manage large-scale PostgreSQL environments on AWS and GCP.
- Lead major migration and upgrade projects, ensuring successful execution.
- Maintain operational excellence, resilience, and security of multi-terabyte scale database environments.
- Implement compliance controls, ensuring database performance and cost efficiency.
- Quickly learn and master any new database technology or cloud platform as required.
Must-Have Skills:- Exceptional skills in PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS and GCP.
- Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code deployments.
Industry Experience:- Prior experience in cloud-based database management for highly available systems is crucial for this role.
