Job Description
Senior Design Engineer AV SystemsLocation: Remote
Responsibilities- Design and validate integrated AV system solutions
- Create technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and system documentation
- Support Project Managers throughout project execution
- Assist Sales with system design and solution development
- Research and recommend AV products and technologies
- Develop equipment, hardware, and wiring lists
- Review project feasibility, budgets, and technical requirements
- Ensure designs meet project specifications and quality standards
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and clients
Requirements- 6+ years of experience designing integrated AV systems
- AVIXA CTS certification required (CTS-D preferred)
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and basic AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of audio, video, control, lighting, and videoconferencing systems
- Ability to read and create technical drawings and system diagrams
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred- Revit experience
- Experience with DSP configuration and system calibration
- Knowledge of construction documents and commercial installation practices
