Senior Design Engineer

Needed immediately: A Senior Design Engineer near the Tifton, GA general area.

Required:

  • BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
  • Minimum 7 years engineering & design experience in aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD design tools and principals
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle assignments under minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of Structural analysis.
  • Familiarity with other engineering principles and other engineering fields.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Require knowledge and experience with products that are required to meet FAA standards.
  • Essential project management skills, including project planning and budget evaluations.

Job Details:

  • SolidWorks 3D CAD (Min. V.2022 – Current) – Certified Professional preferred
  • Designs Aircraft Structural components – Primary and Secondary Structure
  • Must have experience with Engineering Change Processes such as Drawing Change Request, Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, etc.
  • Must have a complete understanding of ASME Y14.5 2009 and possesses a working knowledge in the use of GD&T
  • Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
