Senior Developer

Overview:

Job Purpose

The Data Warehouse & Analytics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer who can bridge business intelligence, data engineering, and modern AI-driven analytics. This role requires strong stakeholder management, the ability to work independently across the full analytics stack, and a working knowledge of emerging AI tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will contribute to scalable data solutions, intelligent automation, and high-impact dashboards serving mission-critical financial data platforms at ICE.

 

Responsibilities

• Work with and analyze petabyte-scale financial data efficiently across multiple sources, transforming findings into clear, actionable business insights.

• Design, develop, and publish Tableau and/or Sigma Computing dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business stakeholders.

• Develop generative AI-powered chatbot solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex platform

• Assist in automating data processing and reporting tasks using generative AI tools and custom solutions

• Adopt and apply evolving AI methodologies, including AI-enhanced BI (Snowflake Cortex), LLM APIs, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and unlock intelligent analytics capabilities.

 

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 5+ years of overall experience in BI development, data analytics, or data engineering with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions.

• 5+ years of experience developing complex SQL queries and leveraging SQL within BI tools.

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop/Online and/or Sigma Computing, including building intuitive, feature-rich dashboards.

• 3+ years of Python proficiency, including data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, scikit-learn).

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehousing platforms.

• Practical experience or strong working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and integrating generative AI capabilities into data or analytics workflows.

• Demonstrated familiarity with AI-assisted development tools used in day-to-day development workflows.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience building agentic AI workflows using LLM APIs (tool use, multi-step reasoning, automated triage).

• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, or Anthropic's Agent SDK.

• Knowledge of vector databases or semantic search for analytics use cases.

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI features and AI-enhanced BI capabilities.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services.
