Senior Developer

Job Overview: This position is responsible for developing and maintaining Loomis customer-facing and business-focused products and applications by gathering and analyzing requirements, architecting solutions, and ensuring rollouts are successful. Individuals in this role will be responsible for conducting thorough requirements analysis and delivering high-quality software components that meet business needs. The individual will be responsible for thoroughly documenting and supporting deployed software components and will participate in and/or lead all facets of the software lifecycle. The individual will be technically challenged to deliver high-quality software in a timely manner. The developer should have excellent professional and communication skills and a willingness to work under rapidly changing priorities. A passion for technology and a high level of aptitude will enable the developer to succeed.The expected skill set for a senior developer must include:

Expert-level competency in C# 4.0+ and SQLExperienced with LINQ and .NET 4.0+Solid working experience in the web stack: ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and other web technologies, ex: React, Angular, and other JS frameworksExperience with writing Unit Tests (with nUnit or equivalent) and planning & executing large integration tests across multiple environmentsSolid understanding of n-tier Architecture and OOP and experience with large-scale applicationsDemonstrable experience developing solution architectureLeadership experience throughout the software lifecycleExperience with Agile development methodologiesSoft Skills

Self-starter requiring minimal supervision/direction and takes responsibility for work producedAmbition to provide exceptional value to the business by building and supporting great applicationsPassion for building great applications using the latest technologiesExperienced in problem-solving and follow a methodical implementation processExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills; handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing prioritiesTeam player willing to wear multiple hats during the project life cycleAbility to communicate with internal and external customers at all levelsWork directly with project managers and business development teams to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions with reasonably accurate estimates for projectsContinue to enhance technical skills and product knowledgeDeliver high-quality software meeting/exceeding requirementsThoroughly test code and overall application

Primary Requirements:

7+ years in software development utilizing C#, SQL Server, and the .Net platformQuality systems implementation experienceExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishMust be willing to work in a dynamic environment with changing prioritiesMust be willing to commit to the overall product and businessMust be willing to help support teams to ensure the overall success of the product and the company
