Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Developer with strong GIS/ESRI expertise to design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise applications supporting linear and spatial data workflows.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure, SQL Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, and geospatial databases. This role will involve full-stack application development, GIS solution design, spatial data management, system integration, automation, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9.0, Entity Framework, MVC, JavaScript libraries, and ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET.
• Analyze requirements and develop application interfaces and integration flows using the Visual Studio application platform.
• Design, develop, and optimize database structures and queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure services to build scalable and reliable cloud-based applications, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
• Integrate GIS applications and spatial data with enterprise systems to improve operational workflows and data accessibility.
• Design, develop, and enhance ESRI ArcGIS Pro-based applications and custom extensions for editing linear and point features.
• Develop custom tools, scripts, and workflows in ArcGIS Pro to optimize GIS data editing processes.
• Manage, process, and analyze spatial data from diverse sources.
• Ensure GIS dataset integrity and accuracy through data conversion, quality assurance, validation, and updates.
• Optimize spatial databases and file geodatabases for performance and usability.
• Develop integration solutions between GIS systems, enterprise platforms, and third-party applications.
• Automate GIS workflows using Python, ArcPy, Arcade, Model Builder, and similar technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/interface designers to integrate user-facing components with server-side application logic.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain development standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, project managers, and end users.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Ensure applications comply with applicable development standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions to support adoption and ongoing maintenance.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend innovative solutions where appropriate.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcMap-based GIS solution design and development.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and Model Builder.
• Experience creating and extending GIS editing tools and workflows in ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong experience with the ESRI product suite, including:

• Familiarity with ArcGIS Online capabilities and GIS application development.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub extensions.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and release management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
