Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Developer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. This role is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications while ensuring high-quality code through reviews and best practices.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $54/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and technical issues in a timely manner.

• Develop and optimize batch processes, stored procedures, and database integrations across Mainframe and AWS environments.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-aligned software solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8-10 years of experience in application development, software design, coding, testing, and debugging.

• Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, Batch Processing, Stored Procedures, CICS, and VSAM.

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, along with modern development frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Angular.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
