Ideal Candidate Profile: Seeking a Senior Developer/Technical Lead with strong IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server, .NET/C#, Azure SQL, and database modernization. The ideal candidate will have experience leading microservices modernization/migration initiatives, including schema restructuring, stored procedures, performance tuning, API integration, and data migration. Strong experience building Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines/ETL workloads and working in Azure IaaS environments is required. The candidate should be an effective technical leader who can guide engineering teams and collaborate closely with PM/Scrum Master, BA, QA, DevOps, Cloud, and SME teams in Agile delivery environments.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Lead collaborative technical design discussionsfor microservices, database restructuring, and API integration.
Provide hands-on SQL engineering including schema modernization, stored procedures, views, indexing, and performance tuning.
Support .NET API development as needed,including backend services and data access patterns.
Guide senior engineering talent with strong,engaging technical leadership.
Collaborate with the PM/Scrum Master to support project execution and decision-making.
Work closely with the veteran SME for technical alignment and domain expertise.
Build migration logic and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Ensure SQL modernization aligns with micro-service boundaries and audit timelines.
Participate in code reviews and documentation reviews.
Collaborate with .NET, SQL, BA, QA, DevOps,Cloud, and CAB teams for cohesive delivery.
Support compliance requirements including PCI,retention rules, and secure data handling.
Operate effectively within delivery workflows and agile components as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of overall IT experience.
SQL Server development experience.
