Senior Developer

Description IgniteAction is seeking an experienced Senior-Level Developer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role requires deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular), backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL-based data stores, and a strong ability to drive code quality, mentor developers, review pull requests, and optimize system and application performance.

Data: PostgreSQL or SQL

Key Responsibilities

Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems

Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code

Review PRs: Conduct code review before deployment and coach developers on any issues discovered

API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use

Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles

Team Development: Coach and mentor mid-junior developers

Requirements Bachelor's degree 8 years of experience

Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance
