Project focus
You will support the infrastructure behind a large-scale online auction marketplace. The role focuses on improving automation, scaling cloud infrastructure, and supporting a migration toward a fully AWS-based environment. You will work closely with engineering teams to build tools that streamline development workflows, strengthen system reliability, and modernize a high-traffic WordPress platform and supporting backend services.

Key skills and experience required
  • 8+ years supporting scalable, high-traffic web platforms
  • Strong experience building and operating infrastructure in AWS
  • Extensive knowledge of serverless services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB and Cognito
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and infrastructure as code practices
  • Strong scripting ability (Linux/Unix shell, Python, Ruby or similar)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tools or platforms like GitHub Actions
  • Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows
  • Experience with configuration management and automated deployment processes
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and development lifecycle best practices
  • Experience designing and managing AWS multi-account environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or X-Ray
  • Experience hosting and supporting WordPress at scale
  • Understanding of MySQL and/or Elasticsearch
  • Ability to estimate and manage AWS infrastructure costs
