Senior DevOps Engineer - 3627475

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior DevOps Engineer position! This is a 6-18 mo contract and will be remote in United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead cloud migration initiatives by transitioning .NET-based OpenShift hosted APIs to Azure Cloud Platform, including code refactoring and pipeline optimization
• Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable, cloud-native application architectures
• Oversee complex systems analysis, design, and development activities as a principal contributor on high-impact projects
• Direct and mentor less experienced engineers, coordinating development tasks and monitoring project execution across small to large-scope initiatives
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology teams throughout the full systems development lifecycle, from technical analysis through user acceptance testing
• Prepare and manage technical components of project plans, including task assessments, timeframes, and resource estimates
• Evaluate complex interrelationships between programs, interfacing applications, and platforms to ensure seamless integration
• Develop comprehensive technical and functional specifications, maintaining clear documentation and promoting adherence to development standards
• Recommend and implement new technologies, policies, and processes to drive continuous improvement and organizational efficiency

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with a focus on cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments
• Proficiency in C# for application development and maintenance
• Solid scripting capabilities using Bash for automation and tooling with a preference for those with Python capabilities as well.
• Proven experience leading cloud migration projects, including infrastructure redesign and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex technical initiatives while also collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve intricate technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and coordinating between applications teams and business units

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr
