Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Chicago-In person is Mandate and Local to Chicago - no Relocation is allowed

Duration: 6+ months contract

Rate: $75/hr

Required skills: Cloud DevOps and Microsoft Azure and Python and Snowflake

Role Descriptions: Deploy Azure environments using Terraform| covering end-to-end infrastructure provisioning| configuration| and integration with CI/CD workflows. Design and implement secure cloud networking and identity architectures| using private connectivity| network security controls| and managed identities to enforce least-privilege| private service communication. Automate the promotion of data platform components across lower and higher environments through reusable GitHub Actions workflows| improving consistency and deployment reliability. Migrate previously manual deployment and promotion processes to automated pipelines| ensuring smoother transitions and reduced operational risk. Work across cloud data platforms and storage systems| performing validation and post-deployment checks to ensure functional correctness| performance| and stability. Microsoft Azure Kubernetes & Docker Terraform (Infrastructure as a Code) Amazon Web Services Hetzner Cloud CI/CD (Github Action| Gitlab| Azure DevOps) Git / Github Virtualization Linux Networking Cyber Security Cloudflare VPN Observability.
