Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Remote; Herndon, VA area candidates (within ~30 miles) 3 days onsite/week.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support secure and scalable multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role focuses on cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to ensure high availability, performance, and security across enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to cross-functional engineering teams while driving cloud transformation and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimization
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
