SUMMARY
Marriott International is seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Director, Global Select + Midscale Brands to shape the future of assigned brands within a rapidly evolving portfolio. This leader translates global category vision into actionable strategies and long-term brand plans, guiding multi-year priorities and making enterprise-level decisions that balance brand ambition, commercial performance, and market realities. By partnering closely with continent and discipline teams, the Senior Director fosters innovation, elevates guest experiences, and ensures brand relevance and measurable business impact across markets.
The Senior Director will have direct responsibility for multiple brands and work closely with continents to monitor and develop strategies and tactics to improve Brand Health metrics, including customer satisfaction, unit growth, and competitive positioning. The role will lead multi-disciplinary projects to deliver complex key brand initiatives, including launching new brands, repositioning brands, and driving transformational change across the brand lifecycle.
As a connector and brand steward, this role balances enterprise objectives with market dynamics, exercises sound judgment in ambiguous, matrixed environments, champions operational excellence, and inspires teams to deliver differentiated results. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, commercially minded brand strategist with exceptional leadership skills, a passion for guest experience, and the ability to influence without authority, align senior stakeholders, and drive sustained performance in service of Marriott's growth ambitions.
