Our team partners closely with technical, project management, and leadership staff to bring complex manufacturing projects to life for biotech and pharma clients across the country.

We are seeking a seasoned and driven Permanent Senior Director of Business Development to join our dynamic team in the Tech Services industry. This role will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to increase revenue and market share in the biopharma and pharma manufacturing sectors. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinker with a robust sales background and a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, particularly in areas such as drug product, injectables, and clinical manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
2. Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities within the biopharma and pharma manufacturing sectors.
3. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive business growth.
4. Lead the negotiation and closure of large-scale deals with prospective and existing clients.
5. Collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of our services.
6. Provide thought leadership and industry expertise, positioning the company as a trusted partner in the life sciences sector.
7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to strategies as needed.
8. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our services and brand.
9. Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and developments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior business development role.
3. Proven track record in business development within the biopharma and pharma manufacturing industries.
4. Strong knowledge of drug product, injectables, and clinical manufacturing.
5. Exceptional consultative sales skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
7. Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
8. Proficient in the use of CRM software and other sales tools.
9. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
11. Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
