Jackson Health Collective (JHC) is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Business Development to drive enterprise growth across our healthcare staffing portfolio.

This is a true new-business hunting role for a proven staffing sales leader who knows how to build pipeline, navigate complex enterprise buying environments, and close large-scale contracts. The primary focus will be developing net-new Managed Service Provider (MSP), health system, IDN, and enterprise staffing relationships with $1M+ annual contract value opportunities.

You’ll represent the collective capabilities of JHC and its brand portfolio including JTP, LRS, JNP, JHP, and JPP to build strategic partnerships across nursing, allied health, rehabilitation, and other healthcare staffing categories.

What You’ll Own

Build a High-Value Enterprise Pipeline

• Develop and execute a disciplined outbound strategy targeting large health systems, IDNs, MSP programs, and enterprise staffing opportunities.
• Generate net-new meetings through strategic prospecting, including calls, targeted email campaigns, LinkedIn/social selling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Identify and qualify opportunities with $1M+ in annual contract value (ACV).
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers across HR, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Strategy, Procurement, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.
• Own opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation and signed contract.
• Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility, and accurate forecasting.
• Consistently achieve new-business revenue, pipeline, meeting, and activity goals.

Leverage Your MSP & Staffing Expertise

• Bring a strong understanding of healthcare staffing, MSP programs, VMS platforms, enterprise procurement, and workforce solutions to client conversations.
• Navigate complex procurement and formal solicitation processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, from identification through finalist presentations.
• Understand the competitive MSP landscape and identify opportunities to position JHC effectively against incumbent and competing staffing partners.
• Match client workforce challenges with capabilities across JHC’s multi-brand portfolio.
• Stay informed on healthcare staffing trends, market dynamics, competitive activity, and evolving workforce strategies.

Lead Complex Deals from Opportunity to Close

• Lead consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes for large, complex enterprise opportunities.
• Develop compelling business cases, proposals, and executive-level presentations tailored to each prospective client.
• Coordinate internal resources including executive leadership, proposal/bid support, operations, recruiting, account management, and legal.
• Lead commercial discussions and partner with senior leadership on contract negotiations.
• Navigate lengthy and complex buying cycles while maintaining momentum and executive engagement through close.

Turn New Contracts into Successful Partnerships

• Partner closely with Account Management, Recruiting, and operational teams to ensure a seamless transition from signed agreement to implementation.
• Clearly communicate client expectations, credentialing requirements, program structures, and other critical information to delivery teams.
• Remain engaged during early account ramp-up to support a successful launch and establish a foundation for long-term growth.
• Identify opportunities for deeper penetration, additional orders, and expansion across JHC’s capabilities.

Success in this role is centered on profitable new-business growth and the activities that create it, including:

• Net-new enterprise contracts won.
• Qualified pipeline generated and advanced.
• $1M+ ACV opportunities created and closed.
• New-client revenue and placements.
• Gross margin and gross profit performance.
• Penetration and expansion within targeted growth markets.
• Executive-level meetings and qualified opportunities generated.
• Pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and CRM discipline.
• Successful transition and activation of newly signed accounts.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience within the staffing industry, with demonstrated success closing large, complex contracts.
• Experience selling within the healthcare staffing industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience selling into and/or supporting MSP programs, including familiarity with VMS platforms, MSP structures, and procurement cycles.
• Proven history of pursuing and closing opportunities with $1M+ annual contract value.
• Experience building relationships and selling to Director, VP, SVP, and C-suite stakeholders.
• A demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline through outbound business development, rather than relying primarily on inbound opportunities or an existing book of business.
• Experience navigating enterprise RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and complex procurement environments.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare staffing landscape and the factors influencing health system workforce decisions.
• Experience with CRM platforms; Bullhorn experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to meet E-Verify eligibility requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, conferences, presentations, and industry events as needed.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, hybrid position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional time outside standard business hours and travel may be required based on client and business needs.
