Job Description

Client Services is a strategic cornerstone of Visa’s value proposition in North America, ensuring clients successfully deploy, operate, and optimize Visa products and platforms at scale. Acting as a critical bridge across Product, Technology, Sales, and Visa Consulting, Client Services embeds the voice of the client across the full lifecycle, from onboarding and adoption to optimization and transformation.

The Client Intelligence & Insight Activation function transforms client data, feedback, and performance signals into trusted insights that explain what is happening, why it is happening, and where focused action and new opportunities, including AI‑enabled activation, will drive the greatest impact for clients and the Visa ecosystem.

Job Description

The Senior Director, Client Intelligence & Insight Activation – Client Services, North America is a senior leadership role serving as both an insight leader and strategic partner. This role translates complex, large‑scale data into client executive‑ready narratives and actionable intelligence that inform client strategy, enable Visa Consulting engagements, and power insight‑led client conversations. The Senior Director operates in a highly cross‑functional environment, influencing senior leaders across Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Visa Consulting & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead highimpact, highly visible client intelligence and analytics initiatives, translating complex transaction, performance, and Voice of Client data into actionable insights that address critical client and ecosystem questions.

  • Establish and govern trusted client metrics, benchmarks, and client health frameworks, ensuring consistent measurement, data quality, and compliant usage across North America client segments and insight activation use cases.

  • Develop executiveready insight narratives and deliverables—including presentations, dashboards, and written storylines—that clearly explain what is happening, why it matters, and what action should be taken by leaders, Client Success Managers (CSMs), and partners.

  • Drive segmentlevel and ecosystemwide intelligence, synthesizing insights across client lifecycle stages to identify performance drivers, systemic issues, and early indicators of risk or opportunity.

  • Activate insights into growthenabling outcomes, enabling CSMs with light‑lift, repeatable signals and partnering with Visa Consulting to deliver consulting‑grade insight assets—while maintaining clear commercial governance and role boundaries.

  • Advance analytic and insight innovation through responsible AI adoption, piloting AI‑enabled tools and automation to improve pattern detection, narrative synthesis, and scalability of insights within approved governance and compliance guardrails.

  • Build and develop highperforming client intelligence teams, mentoring leaders and practitioners to uphold analytical rigor, storytelling excellence, delivery discipline, and continuous capability growth.

Location

  • This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.  ​.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD); PhD with 9+ years of experience

  • Demonstrated experience applying AI‑enabled analytics and automation (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, advanced pattern detection, or automated insight generation)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and client executives.

  • Proven data problem‑solving skills with experience interpreting large‑scale datasets and extracting actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques.

  • Demonstrated success building executive‑ready, client‑facing narratives that influence decision‑making and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Proactive collaborator and self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and can lead multiple complex initiatives concurrently.

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10–20 percent as required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $179,300 to $369,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
