•    Create and maintain automated dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools using Power BI, Python, or similar platforms to enable self-service analytics across the organization
•    Partner with IT, the CTO organization, and external vendors to architect and govern the data and AI infrastructure - including cloud-based analytics environments, MLOps pipelines, and model deployment frameworks
•    Establish data quality standards, responsible AI governance, and model risk management protocols - including bias mitigation, explainability, and compliance with applicable privacy regulations

Analytics Partnership and Organizational Enablement
•    Serve as the primary analytics partner to FP&A, Operations, Asset Management, and M&A, embedding data science into strategic and operational decision-making
•    Prepare data-driven narratives and analytical exhibits for Board presentations, investor reviews (Ventas, Brookfield), and regulatory reporting as in partnership with the VP, FP&A
•    Collaborate with Operations leadership to develop community-level performance benchmarks, peer-group analysis, and leading indicator frameworks
•    Support due diligence and underwriting activities with data-driven market analysis, competitive intelligence, and performance modeling
•    Lead the development of self-service analytics capabilities that empower business users across the organization to access and interpret data independently

Leadership and Team Development
•    Build, lead, and develop a team of data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers
•    Foster a culture of innovation, intellectual curiosity, and continuous learning within the analytics function
•    Provide coaching on statistical methods, data visualization, storytelling with data, and stakeholder engagement

Core Compentencies
•    Deep expertise in data science, machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
•    Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern analytics platforms - including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks), orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow), and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
•    Experience designing and managing data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based analytics environments
•    Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical executive audiences
•    Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology
•    Define and execute the AI and generative AI strategy for the FP&A organization, identifying high-value use cases for large language models, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted decision support
•    Familiarity with MLOps practices, model monitoring, and the responsible deployment of AI systems in production environments
•    Proven leadership ability with experience building and scaling analytics or data science teams from the ground up
•    Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change - building analytics fluency and data-driven culture across functions that have historically relied on intuition or spreadsheet-based processes
