Senior Director, Educational Strategy
 
Job Summary:
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial supporters to ensure strong communication of Vindico capabilities, experience, thinking, and successes
  • Capturing supporters' detailed potential needs and interests
  • Identifying and qualifying potential opportunities for grant funding
  • Developing effective educational strategies to meet supporters' and learners' needs
  • Aligning strategies with Vindico's educational priorities
  • Overseeing all aspects of grant proposal generation
  • Working closely across departments to develop new educational formats and concepts
  • When appropriate, coordinating with strategic partners
  • Successfully networking through presentations, conferences, and related activities
  • Managing cross-functional teams and external partners toward common objectives
 
Additional duties and responsibilities include maximizing understanding within assigned therapeutic areas, and building relationships with topic experts and KOLs in these areas to build and strengthen personal and organizational expertise.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  
 
  • Strong business development/educational strategy experience resulting in expanded CME funding
  • Providing oversight and supporter communication for funded CME activities, and established relationships with grant management and medical affairs teams at pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Strong customer relationship management
  • Business planning development, execution and documentation
  • Small group moderation and one-on-one presentation skills
  • Development and delivery of presentations and reporting using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • An advanced degree (MA, MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) is not required, but an advantage
  • Equivalent education and/or industry experience is required
  • CCMEP is a plus but not required
 
Preferred candidates should also have an in-depth knowledge of medical affairs departments, familiarity with adult education principles and ACCME standards of commercial support, and an understanding of basic clinical science research and statistics.  Travel is required 25% of the time, with the ability to drive up to 3 hours. 
 
The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 (plus a commission plan).  Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience and equity with internal team members.  If you are interested in a similar position outside of this range, please submit your resume with the code 'WGJOBS', as we often fill similar positions.
 
Employees living within 50-mile radius will be scheduled to work two days in our Thorofare, NJ location.  All other applicants may work a fully remote schedule.
