Senior Director - Human Resources

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Director - Human Resources for our EPC-related client in Dallas, TX. This role is 100% in the North Dallas office, and our client is looking for a high potential individual who can move into the VP-HR role within 24 months.

·Bachelors Degree and 15+ years of diverse HR leadership experience required; MBA a plus

·Excellent business acumen and knowledge of EPC / Engineering operations knowledge preferred

·Base Salary up to $225k DOE plus 20% bonus opportunity and excellent benefits package

Role Overview:

The Senior Director is responsible for strategic human resource planning for the organization. This role is initially responsible for the talent acquisition, succession planning and learning & development functions and supporting the SVP/CHRO with other areas of the HR functions of the organization (Corporate, Management, Field Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing). This role reports to the SVP/CHRO and works strategically with all members of the Management Team.

Responsibilities:

·Work with the Leadership Team to strategically develop and plan HR initiatives to align with the overall corporate plans

·Responsible for ensuring successful implementation of corporate initiatives and processes which may require balancing corporate goals with business unit or regional practices, goals, and objectives.

·Lead and guide HR team by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, benefits and compensation.

·Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

·Leads implementation of strategic workforce planning for Company

·Function as a strategic business advisor to the Leadership Team and senior management of each business unit regarding key organizational and management issues.

·Work to establish succession planning for assigned organizations.

·Lead and/or oversee key HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

·Bachelors degree is required; MBA or master’s degree preferred.

·Minimum 15+ years of HR experience required

·Minimum 5+ years of HR leadership level experience encompassing benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, HR compliance, performance management, training and employee development

·HR experience in the EPC / Engineering sector preferred

·Must be a strategic and results-oriented leader, have a strong business orientation and be able to react quickly and effectively to changing situations

·Effective written and verbal communicator, in both one-on-one and group discussions

·Up to 20% Travel as needed to successfully implement strategic HR initiatives

·SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
