This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton''s sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Senior Director, Inventory Solutions you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton''s "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton''s ability to achieve profitable growth. You will report to the Vice President, Pricing and Inventory Solutions and lead business strategy and opportunity assessment to define and pursue Inventory-related commercial capabilities that help strengthen customer choice and clarity while enhancing hotel profitability. You will partner closely with other functions including Pricing, Revenue Management, Loyalty, Analytics and Brands to evolve Revenue Management and Customer Experience.
What you''ll do during a typical day:
- Maintain Hilton''s Inventory strategy to strengthen customer choice and clarity while enhancing hotel profitability through greater atomization, retailing, and merchandizing of hotel inventory, including rooms, services, and on-and-off-property experiences.
- Prioritize innovation to balance short-term performance impact and building foundational capabilities for the future.
- Identify and prioritize new sellable inventory constructs (e.g., add-ons such as early check-in, late check-out, and other on-property and off-property experiences) that improve total hotel revenue and are additive to customer experience
- Provide strategic guidance to in-flight Inventory initiatives to ensure project team''s understanding of long-term vision and quarterly objectives.
- Own Hilton''s inventory roadmap and associated governance forums; communicate progress and impact of strategic initiatives to senior leaders; escalate risks as necessary.
- Define and drive the strategy for Prodigy (Hilton''s Central Reservations System (CRS) user interface) in partnership with Product and Technology to improve usability and workflow efficiency
- Seek strategic alignment across regions (APAC, EMEA, and AMER) through collaboration with in-region teams and global stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable and aligned to enterprise needs.
- Manage and develop the Team Members within the Inventory Solutions team
How you''ll collaborate with others:
- Partner with Commercial, Product, Pricing, Customer Experience, Loyalty, Technology, Analytics, Marketing and 3rd party vendors as we define, prioritize, build, and deploy innovations for Inventory capabilities.
- Collaborate with global Commercial, Pricing, and Revenue Management leaders to help shape the vision and strategy for the evolution of Revenue Management at Hilton.
- Partner with Analytics to forecast and measure the impact of Inventory initiatives to aid with business case development, prioritization, and communication of value realization.
Projects you''ll take ownership of:
- Business leadership of Inventory capability innovation (including rooms, services, and experiences) and Central Reservation System (CRS) innovation
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Seven (7) years of experience in Pricing, Product, Revenue Management, Strategy, Analytics, Sales, Customer Experience, and/or other commercial functions, with experience translating business needs into requirements, recommendations, or cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in driving strategy through innovation
- Success maximizing asset revenue generation through identification of new and innovative sources of revenue
- Proven experience to balance monetization with customer experience
- Experience leading and collaborating in a matrixed environment
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
- Proven experience solving complex problems through analytical
- Travel up to 20%
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience in other hospitality, travel, or adjacent service industries
- Experience with Marketing, Loyalty, and/or Third-party Distribution and other commercial customer platforms
- Experience leading vendor evaluation and software selection processes (including RFI/RFPs, demos, and pilots), and developing clear business cases that articulate ROI and inform senior leadership decisions
- Experience in driving innovation in digital merchandising, pricing, and inventory management with involvement in large-scale technology transformations and internal UI enablement
- Knowledge of hospitality operations and commercial processes, or comparable experience in an adjacent industry
