Senior Director – Mobile Cooling Solutions, E-Commerce

About the Position

Mobile Cooling Solutions is on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, and we are looking for a strategic, curious, and purpose-driven leader to join us as Senior Director – Mobile Cooling Solutions, E-Commerce.

This role will be involved in translating the Mobile Cooling Solutions digital and direct-to-consumer strategy into focused, measurable execution for the Igloo brand. Reporting to the Head of Digital Growth & E-Commerce, this role leads Igloo’s digital commercial agenda across owned e-commerce with direct support to all other Mobile Cooling brands.

The role combines brand-level, digital channel management, performance optimization, and cross-functional execution. It is designed for a hands-on senior leader who can turn enterprise direction into clear priorities, operating plans, and sustainable results for Igloo. 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Igloo Digital Commerce Strategy & Planning 

• Translate the Mobile Cooling Solutions digital and DTC strategy into an annual Igloo digital commerce plan, priorities, targets, and execution roadmap. 
• Recommend brand-specific growth opportunities using consumer, channel, competitive, and performance insights. 
• Own the Igloo digital operating rhythm, including business reviews, performance reporting, risks, dependencies, and corrective actions. 
• Provide brand-level recommendations to the Head of Digital Growth & E-Commerce while operating within enterprise channel, technology, data, and governance direction. 

Digital Channel Performance 

• Lead Igloo performance across owned DTC platforms.
• Develop channel plans that define assortment, content, merchandising, promotions, traffic, conversion, and retention priorities for the Igloo brand. 
• Monitor channel economics and partner performance, escalating enterprise trade-offs or conflicts to the Head of Digital Growth & E-Commerce. 
• Partner with Sales to support price consistency, channel alignment, and coordinated commercial activation. 

Commercial Growth & Financial Delivery 

• Deliver Igloo, and related brands when appropriate, digital revenue, margin, conversion, and customer growth objectives within approved plans and investment guardrails. 
• Partner with Finance to build forecasts, track performance, evaluate investment effectiveness, and identify recovery actions. 
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to improve in-stock performance, inventory health, order flow, fulfillment outcomes, and returns. 
• Recommend Igloo assortment, pricing, promotion, and geographic priorities based on channel performance and profitability. 

Digital Marketing, Analytics & Consumer Experience 

• Partner with Brand Marketing and media teams to connect SEO/SEM, CRM, performance marketing, social, influencer, and campaign activity to commerce outcomes. 

• Use funnel, cohort, customer, and channel data to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value. 
• Turn digital insights into actionable recommendations for merchandising, content, product launches, and customer experience. 
• Ensure Igloo digital experiences consistently reflect approved brand standards, product positioning, and consumer needs. 

E-Commerce Operations 

• Oversee Igloo’s day-to-day digital commerce operating standards, including product catalog quality, pricing accuracy, content readiness, merchandising, ratings and reviews, and marketplace optimization. 
• Establish clear service levels, controls, and issue-resolution processes with internal teams and external partners. 
• Ensure Igloo digital activities comply with enterprise requirements for security, privacy, accessibility, consumer protection, and applicable regulations. 
• Identify process and platform improvements and sponsor approved changes through implementation. 

People Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Lead, coach, and develop the Igloo e-commerce team, setting clear objectives, decision rights, and performance expectations. 
• Partner closely with the entire DTC organization of Mobile Cooling Solutions
• Build strong working relationships across Brand Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Care, IT, Legal, and external partners. 
• Create an inclusive, accountable, and test-and-learn culture that balances speed with disciplined execution. 
• Contribute Igloo insights and capabilities to the broader Mobile Cooling Solutions digital organization. 

Scope and Decision Accountability 

This role owns execution and performance for the Igloo brand. The Head of Digital Growth & E-Commerce retains accountability for the broader Mobile Cooling Solutions digital and DTC strategy, enterprise priorities, cross-brand governance, major platform direction, and executive-level transformation agenda. The Senior Director recommends Igloo priorities and leads approved plans within that framework. 

Compensation Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $182,000. Actual placement within this range will be determined by job-related factors such as experience, education, training, and internal equity.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial but not required. 
• 8+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce, DTC, digital commercial, or omnichannel consumer businesses, including leadership responsibility. 
• Experience managing brand or channel revenue and profitability, with strong financial and analytical discipline. 
• Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization. 
• Consumer products, lifestyle, outdoor, durable goods, or related brand experience is preferred.
