Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Business Intelligence to lead our BI team and drive data strategy across the organization. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights, guiding strategic decisions, and enhancing overall business performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data analytics, a proven track record in leadership, and a passion for e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:

1. • Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy aligned with our organizational goals.
   • Lead the BI team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
   • Partner with senior leadership to identify key business challenges and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations.

• Data Management and Analytics:

1. • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
   • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all data and analytics.
   • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets.

• Performance Optimization:

1. • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth through comprehensive data analysis.
   • Drive initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall lifetime value.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that optimize business processes and outcomes.

• Technology and Innovation:

1. • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in BI tools, technologies, and methodologies.
   • Evaluate and implement new BI tools and platforms to enhance data analysis capabilities.
   • Promote the use of AI and machine learning to drive predictive analytics and business forecasting.

• Team Development:

1. • Mentor and develop the BI team, promoting skill growth and career advancement.
   • Build a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, and performance management.
   • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• 5+ years proven experience in the e-commerce or DTC sector.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders will be critical for this role.
• Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in building out a Business Intelligence function from the ground up is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Compensation:

• Base salary: $175-220K per year.
• Annual bonus: 20% + equity.
