Senior Director of Finance
 Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $90,000–$105,000 DOE

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership for a well-established public-sector organization in Tulsa. This executive role oversees budgeting, financial reporting, grant administration, compliance, financial planning, and accounting operations while partnering with leadership to ensure long-term financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and long-term financial planning.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee grant management and compliance with federal, state, and private funding requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Direct accounting, finance, payroll, billing, and grants functions.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support organizational goals.
  • Improve financial systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Present financial reports and recommendations to executive leadership and governing boards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • CPA or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) required.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Governmental, nonprofit, or public-sector accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, budgeting, grant compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and grant portfolios.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills.
