About the Opportunity

Talent Connect Executive Search is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking an experienced Senior Director of Regional Operations to provide strategic operational leadership across multiple PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) locations throughout Southern California.

This executive leadership role is ideal for an experienced healthcare operations leader who thrives in multi-site environments, enjoys building high-performing teams, and is passionate about improving care for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic operational initiatives across multiple PACE programs, focusing on quality, compliance, participant satisfaction, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Provide executive oversight for key operational departments, which may include transportation, participant engagement, behavioral health, marketing, enrollment, and day center operations.
  • Serve as interim executive leadership when needed, including supporting center leadership during transitions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to improve organizational performance, standardize best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support expansion projects, including new centers, alternative care sites, and mobile healthcare operations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and PACE regulatory requirements while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Analyze operational performance through audits, site visits, and data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize participant outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multi-site healthcare operations.
  • Strong background managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, improve operational performance, and mentor leadership teams.
  • PACE experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Travel

This position supports multiple Southern California locations and requires approximately 80% regional travel.
