Will you be a part of the team?About the Role Flex is seeking a tenacious, results-driven Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships to build, manage, and scale large revenue-driving enterprise partnerships for the company. This role is ideal for a high-agency strategic operator with a proven track record launching and growing partnerships that drive measurable P&L impact. You will take full ownership, driving strategy, execution, and long‑term relationship management to maximize business results for your partnerships. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and working closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Flex's growth.This position is available to candidates working 2-3 days a week hybrid in either our NYC or SF office. Candidates relocating to our hubs may be eligible for relocation assistance.Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Development and Execution:Launch new strategic partnerships aligned with Flex's growth objectivesDefine and implement strategies & operating models to maximize enterprise value and strategic alignmentLead the creation of joint business plans, including legal agreements, financial modeling, and partnership economicsCollaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support and Legal teams at Flex and partner organizations to maximize execution and impactPartner Management & Operations:Manage and expand relationships with Flex's largest strategic partners, fostering trust and long‑term collaborationBuild and deliver on your partnership business plan; drive progress on key partner initiatives, resolving issues and aligning stakeholders to deliver measurable winsTrack, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring accountabilityDesign and oversee partnership GTM efforts working closely with product, sales and marketing teamsManage day‑to‑day operations, monthly and quarterly business reviewsLeadership and Strategy:Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing team of business development professionals and cross‑functional stakeholders aligned to and supporting your partnershipsDevelop and implement scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices to support partnership acquisition and growthAlign partnership efforts with Flex's broader organizational objectives, serving as a strategist and thought leaderKey Qualifications 12+ years of experience in FinTech/SaaS business development, strategic partnerships, strategic account management, or at a top-tier strategy consulting firmProven success in sourcing, structuring, and closing complex, high-impact strategic partnerships or enterprise client dealsDemonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end results through launch and post-launch phase, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders internally and externallyExceptional leadership skills, with experience building and scaling high-performing teams and fostering collaboration across diverse groupsSuperior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsSuperb organizational skills and detail orientation, strong ability to bring order to chaosHighly analytical, with a strong understanding of B2B and B2C FinTech business modelsThrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with the ability to move strategic initiatives from concept to execution with urgencySelf‑motivated, with a relentless drive to deliver measurable business impactFlex takes a market-based approach to pay, ensuring compensation is commensurate with a candidate's experience and our internal leveling guidelines.For candidates located in our Tier 1 markets (NYC/ SF), the on-target earning (OTE) pay range for this role is $288,000 - $360,000 USD. For all other U.S. locations, Flex utilizes a geographic pay differential based on a cost of labor index. If you are located outside of the Tier 1 states listed above, your starting pay will be adjusted to align with the market conditions of your specific geographic zone.
