This role will be responsible for improving material flow, warehouse efficiency, and order fulfillment processes through data-driven decisions, and for implementation and support of automation solutions in distribution. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration between manufacturing and distribution, supporting both current operations and future growth.Key Responsibilities: Process Design & Optimization Design and optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and storage strategies to improve efficiency and throughputAnalyze distribution processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping) and implement improvementsDevelop and maintain standard work and process documentationIdentify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions (e.g., conveyors, sortation systems, AGVs, fixed and mobile robotic systems)Lead automation-related projects from concept through implementationPartner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful deployment of automated systemsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual touches, cycle time, and errorsUtilize data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvementsDevelop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance (throughput, accuracy, productivity)Support capacity planning and labor optimization effortsCollaborate with IT and Supply Chain teams to optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionalityEnsure alignment and integration between WMS, ERP, and automation systemsExperience with Oracle ERP preferredPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product flow from production to distributionSupport new product introductions (NPI) by designing scalable distribution processesProvide on-the-floor support to troubleshoot operational issues and drive resolutionMinimum Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or manufacturing engineeringExperience designing or improving warehouse processes and material flowStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisionsCurrently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
