GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior EIT 2 to work with the Power Generation Business Sector on primarily renewable energy projects and, when needed, other regional projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees, upon supervisor approval, the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team‑oriented environment that will utilize their college education and past work experience to develop professionally into a well‑rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today's environment. The candidate will perform both design and monitoring tasks under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer.Job Duties:Site Grading PlansErosion and Sediment Control PlansStormwater Management PlansHydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage PlansUtility Design and Relocation PlansMaintenance and Protection of Traffic PlansGeotechnical InvestigationsPermit Applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, high occupancy permits, etc.)Access Road Section DevelopmentConstruction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control PlansField InvestigationsDaily/Weekly Construction InspectionsEarthwork Construction Quality ControlCompaction TestingESC InspectionsSWPPP InspectionsThe candidate should have the desire and ability to travel to project sites, as needed, primarily in the Midwest and Mid‑Atlantic regions of the United States.General Characteristics:Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice areaEvaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features.Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments.Applies principles of probability and statistics to determine risk relevant to engineering.Minimum Years of Experience:6+Education:B.S. or M.S.
