Job Summary:

Automation engineering role for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in complex industrial environments. A Senior Electrical / Automation Maintenance Engineer who can walk into a plant, diagnose automation failures, optimize control systems, commission new equipment, and leave operations stronger than they found it. If you are highly skilled in PLC programming, HMI development, electrical troubleshooting, and machine commissioning and you take pride in improving uptime and performance, this role is built for you. You will not be babysitting equipment you will be improving it.

What You Will Own:

• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens & Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley)
• HMI design, modification, and performance optimization
• Commissioning of automated systems and production equipment
• Root cause analysis of recurring electrical and control failures
• Electrical system diagnostics in high-demand industrial environments
• Automation-driven process improvements that increase uptime and throughput
• Safety compliance and control system integrity

Technical Requirements:

• 5 years of industrial automation experience
• Deep experience with Siemens and Rockwell Automation PLC platforms
• Strong HMI configuration and troubleshooting experience
• Expert-level electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and modify electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred)
• Machine commissioning experience
• Willingness to relocate if needed
• Weekly overnight travel required

Highly Valued:

• Experience in Aggregate / Mining operations
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated success reducing downtime and improving reliability metrics
