Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Electrical Transfomers)Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per yearLocation: Memphis, TNRelocation Assistance: AvailableOur client is a very well established manufacturer of products for the electric power line industry, and they have an immediate need for a Senior Electrical Engineer.Job DescriptionThe Design Engineer's responsibility is to manage the design and development of new products for the electric utility market as well as manage engineering activities related to maintaining existing products.Develop new product part and assembly designs, drawings and specificationsEvaluate and recommend specifications and ensure products meet the technical and functional requirementsReview and analysis of proposed product changesPerform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designsManage prototype development and testingFacilitate creation and approval of Engineering drawing changesRecommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective proceduresWrite test reports for both internal use and for publicationWork independently on moderately complex products/product linesCollaborate with other members of the engineering staff to ensure project milestones are met and that projects are completed according to established timelinesTechnical support for Field Sales personnelJob RequirementsRequirements:BSEE or equivalent5-10 years of engineering experienceFamiliarity with 3D modeling softwareGood communication skillsPreferred:Electric utility product line experienceManufacturing environment experienceProficient with 3D modeling software (preferably SolidWorks or ProE)Understanding of manufacturing processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
