If you are passionate about sustainable design, technical excellence, and leading impactful projects, we would love to hear from you.General ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support both pre‑design and design phases on small to medium‑sized projects, which may include a mix of commercial and institutional buildings or be dedicated exclusively to healthcare facilities. You'll apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, prepare construction estimates and specifications, manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts.Review existing as‑built drawingsPerform field investigationsSet up drawings and models for multiple disciplinesCoordinate design schedules and deliverablesConduct feasibility studiesPerform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VEDevelop single‑line diagrams and load schedulesDesign lighting systems and controlsEngineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systemsConduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System StudiesExperience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plusEducation & CertificationBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldLEED Accreditation is a plusPE License is a plusExperience Required10+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare or commercial buildingsAbility to lead projects from concept through constructionStrong understanding of healthcare codes and standardsWorking KnowledgeAutoCAD requiredCalifornia Building Code or Washington Building CodeNational Electrical CodeP2S is an equal opportunity employer.
