This role, based at the Saint Paul office, focuses on crafting and implementing detailed electrical construction plans, employing Revit for modeling, and orchestrating projects connected to industrial and utility sectors.

Collaboration with engineers, project managers, architects, contractors, and clients is paramount to deliver innovative and distinguished design outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop precise electrical construction documents.
- Conceptualize and design comprehensive industrial lighting systems for various environments.
- Collect and synchronize electrical design specifications from diverse stakeholders.
- Design and layout electrical rooms, incorporating key components like transformers and switchgear.
- Determine sizing for feeders, conduits, and cable tray configurations.
- Engage in 2D and 3D electrical modeling while ensuring design cohesion across disciplines.
- Implement clash detection and participate in model review and coordination.
- Execute voltage drop and short-circuit analysis.
- Craft detailed schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Inspect and review shop drawings for accuracy in dimensions and equipment placements.
- Conduct site assessments to gather existing facility data.
- Draft construction observation feedback.
- Guide and nurture junior colleagues in electrical design.
- Assist in project management tasks such as planning, budgeting, scheduling, and estimating design hours.
**Qualifications:**
**Required**
- Over a decade of experience in electrical drafting/design within consulting or construction sectors.
- Expertise with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
- Proficiency in electrical equipment modeling and cross-discipline coordination in Revit.
- Competence in creating and managing advanced 3D electrical models.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction documents across various domains.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, and others.
- In-depth knowledge of key electrical design principles.
- Awareness of QA/QC and document control protocols.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs.
**Preferred**
- Degree or diploma in Drafting, Design, or a closely related field.
- Experience with power system modeling tools like SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower.

Compensation ranges from $49.50 to $61.90 per hour, with the possibility of an annual bonus. Actual compensation is reflective of experience, qualifications, and location.
