An<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Electrical Designer<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>shall can produce comprehensive facility electrical designs under the guidance of a Project Engineer and, at a minimum, have the following capabilities:<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
  • Understand basic electrical theory/calculations, electrical system components and devices.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    • Must have the ability to comprehend and implement inputs and direction from the project engineer.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
      • Apply Revit, AutoCAD, photometric, word processing/spreadsheet<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b>and other basic software to support project designs.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
        • Knowledge of codes<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i>, standards, and best practices with the ability to apply them within the electrical design.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
          • Be able to develop and draft power, lighting and fire alarm plans, single line/riser diagrams, panel and light fixture schedules.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
            • Understand the components of the<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span>that will require power and be able to coordinate those discipline requirements into the electrical design.<\/span>

              • Take personal ownership of the work produced.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

                Requirements<\/h3>

                This is a Direct -Hire. At least<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>4 years in Electrical Design<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i>for large, complex projects is required. <\/span>
                <\/span><\/span><\/p>

                • Vocation school, military training, college degree, field experience, proven relevant technical experience.<\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent.<\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, photometric, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software.<\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
                • Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to participate in a collaborative team environment.<\/span>
