
Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting the specification, design, implementation, installation, commissioning, startup, and close‑out of small‑ to large‑scale capital and major maintenance projects within a manufacturing environment. This role operates both independently and in collaboration with Central Engineering resources and provides hands‑on technical expertise to plant‑level Maintenance, Production/Operations, EH&S, and Management teams. The position requires a strong working knowledge of plant power distribution systems, PLC‑based control systems, and industrial machinery, with a practical application of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles. This is a plant‑focused, hands‑on engineering role with significant time spent on the production floor.

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing facility. The role involves 60% of time spent in the office for project development, engineering tasks, reporting, project updates, and team meetings, and 40% on the production floor for project support, equipment installation, commissioning, startups, troubleshooting, programming, and testing. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required during floor operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
