Description
Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex electrical engineering projects across a diverse portfolio of markets, including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military facilities.
This role is responsible for leading electrical design efforts from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that meet client requirements. The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate across disciplines, manage project deliverables, and play a key role in client engagement and business development.

Qualifications
Education & Experience (one of the following):
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) and 7+ years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (ABET accredited), successful completion of the FE exam, and 7+ years of experience
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of related experience
Prior experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design practices, and applicable ANSI and IEEE standards.
Proven experience leading electrical design efforts on large or complex projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage project execution, delegate tasks, and resolve technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities.
Ability to perform in-depth quality reviews of technical documents and designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with standard engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Compensation
$150,000 - $230,000 annually
The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for participation in Burns & McDonnell's discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
