Delta is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager for our facilities projects.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed with a background in facilities design for municipal and transportation agencies. The candidate will work directly with the Electrical Department Manager to plan and oversee project design and execution.Headquartered in downtown Chicago, Delta offers a wide variety of electrical engineering services including facilities design, roadway lighting, fiber optic communications, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. Additionally, Delta operates within many industries such as transportation, rail, aviation, and municipal.Project Planning & Management ResponsibilitiesDevelop new project scoping, man-hours estimation, budgeting, and design criteriaManage select projects and support other PMs when necessaryCoordinate with other departments for multi-discipline projects.Supervision of supporting engineers and technicians for the preparation of contract documentsCompile milestone deliverables (calculations, drawings, specs, etc) consistent with client standardsOrganize both physical and digital project documentationAttend site visits and client meetingsConducting business development activities as neededEngineering ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed electrical design of lighting, power distribution, alarms, and communications, voltage drop calculations, generator and transformer sizing, substation and ground grid design and analysis.Experience with SKM Power ToolsReview drawings prepared by others in AutoCAD, REVIT, or Microstation formatParticipating in QA/QC process of completed work by staffMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, MS preferredIllinois licensed PEMinimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the electrical design in a variety of building types: office, commercial, education and industrial.Experience with CADD solutions including Microstation, AutoCad, and RevitSolid knowledge of electrical trade practices, standards, and building codesStrong communication, teamwork & leadership skills.Experience using SKM for Arc Flash studies is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
