We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing power systems engineering company. This position will support the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, utility, and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical power distribution, system studies, engineering design, and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work on technically challenging projects while collaborating with experienced engineers, project managers, clients, utilities, and other engineering disciplines.

Job Details

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in power plants, renewable energy, or industrial power systems, with experience throughout the full project lifecycle—from conceptual design and FEED through detailed EPC design, construction, and commissioning.
• Power Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of HV/MV electrical systems, protection schemes, and grid integration.
• Software: Proficiency with ETAP, PSCAD, or similar power system analysis software; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Design Deliverables: Experience developing and reviewing IFC-level drawings, including single-line diagrams, protection schematics, cable schedules, and grounding designs.
• Codes & Standards: Working knowledge of IEEE, IEC, NEC, and utility interconnection requirements.
• Construction & Commissioning: Understanding of HV/MV construction practices, QA/QC processes, commissioning, testing, and field implementation.
