Position Overview
We are excited to invite a visionary Lead Electrical Project Engineer to spearhead initiatives within our dynamic engineering team. This key position will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial concept to the final stages of construction. It involves guiding less experienced engineers, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver superior engineering solutions.
The successful applicant will exhibit profound technical knowledge, proven leadership capabilities, and the confidence to interface directly with clients, ensuring optimal project results.
Primary Duties
- Oversee the development and execution of electrical engineering projects from start to finish
- Direct and allocate resources for project teams, ensuring schedules and deliverables are met
- Act as the principal client liaison, maintaining strong relationships
- Guide technical aspects to uphold high engineering standards
- Mentor and cultivate the growth of junior engineers and support staff
- Collaborate effectively with cross-discipline teams across diverse project types
- Ensure adherence to prevailing codes, standards, and engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Active and current Professional Engineer (PE) license (mandatory)
- Over 10 years of experience in an architecture/engineering consulting setting
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, building systems, etc.)
- Documented success in leading projects from concept through completion
- Proven leadership track record with team management and mentoring experience
- Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects
- Exceptional communication and client interaction skills
